One day Morris’s owner says: “Today we’re going to make you beautiful!” What can she mean by that? Morris thinks he’s already beautiful. Morris’s owner thinks so too. She just means he’s off to the hairdresser’s. At first Morris thinks it’s quite scary. But the water is lovely and warm, and the hairdresser’s hands are so soft. It’s actually very pleasant. “Well, don’t you look beautiful!” says Morris’s owner. Morris thinks so too. But he was beautiful before, of course. The most beautiful puppy in the whole wide world, in fact.
