Ulf Stark's new book is one of his most original and thought provoking. Märklin and Turbin are two clownish figures of indefinable age whose father left before they were born. In the house where they live is a room containing some clues about their father: a pilot’s hat, a coat with a wallet in the pocket, and lots of maps of different deserts. One day Märklin and Turbin set off on a journey to find their father.
