Esbjörn Jorsäter
Cartoonist Esbörn Jorsäter has for many years shared his knowledge with all people interested in the art. With his recent books he teaches people to draw animals, people and fantasy. Esbörn was nuts about drawing when he was 5-6 year old but also studied other artists and was full of confidence. That changed during his teens when he thought nothing he drew was good enough. It took several years before he fused the different mentalities together and developed his own technique. One thing led to another and he started drawing classes at the serietecknarskolan in Hofors but things didn’t really take off until one of his friends asked him if he saw different shapes in the air when he was thinking what to draw, Jorsäter realized that he indeed did see shapes in the air or at least in his mind. That became an eye-opener which resulted in better teaching which led to better students. Jorsäter thanks to his success has written four books on drawing and there is more to come..
