Bonnier Group Agency was established in September of 2003 to represent authors from the Bonnier publishing group and internationally known names such as Kerstin Ekman, Håkan Nesser, Åsa Larsson, Carl-Johan Vallgren, Ulf Stark, Lennart Nilsson and others, are all to be found on the BGA list.
The main part of the Bonnier Group Agency business is the selling of fiction, non-fiction and children’s books from Albert Bonniers, Bonnier Carlsen, Forum and Wahlström & Widstrand to publishing houses in foreign markets to be published in foreign languages. BGA sells world-wide and to both Europe, Asia and the UK/US markets, directly and through sub-agents.
An increasing interest in film adaptations based on books means that BGA also handles film rights on behalf of a selection of authors and the agency has successfully made several deals with Swedish and international movie companies in the past two years.
